Access Fitting |

This is the external part of the corrosion monitoring system; it is fixed in a safe and permanent way to the part of the plant in which corrosion control is desired (pipelines or vessels in most cases). Two classes of access fitting could be identified, in relation to their usage: - TEE access fitting. - NON TEE access fitting, where a solid or hollow plug is screwed in the internal thread - TEE access fitting, where a lateral hole is opened for an external connection, by means of a nipple, to the High Pressure System. Even in this type a solid or hollow plug is screwed in the internal thread. |
